Rustam Khabilov, Reza Madadi to Square Off at UFC Fight Night in Hamburg

A lightweight matchup pitting Rustam Khabilov against Reza Madadi has been added to the UFC Fight Night “Arlovski vs. Barnett” lineup.

Promotion officials revealed the bout on Friday. UFC Fight Night takes place at Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany, on Sept. 3 and is headlined by a heavyweight scrap between Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett.

Khabilov is 2-0 thus far in 2016, posting unanimous decision triumphs over Chris Wade and Norman Parke. The Dagestani fighter is 5-2 in the UFC overall with other notable wins against Jorge Masvidal and Yancy Medeiros.

Madadi, meanwhile, returned to the promotion after more than a two-year absence in October, when he lost a three-round verdict to Parke at UFC Fight Night Dublin. “Mad Dog” got back in the win column with a third-round TKO of Yan Cabral on May 8, improving his UFC mark to 3-2.
