Adesanya, 35, enters the Octagon on the heels of back-to-back losses. The City Kickboxing star last fought at UFC 305, where he submitted to a fourth-round neck crank from Dricus Du Plessis in a failed bid to reclaim the undisputed middleweight championship on Aug. 17. Adesanya has secured 16 of his 24 career victories by knockout or technical knockout, seven of them inside one round. Imavov, meanwhile, finds himself on a modest three-fight winning streak. The 29-year-old Frenchman last saw action on Sept. 28, when he laid claim to a three-round unanimous decision over former Legacy Fighting Alliance champion Brendan Allen at UFC Fight Night 243. Imavov has compiled a 7-2 record with one no contest across his 10 assignments in the UFC, having lost only to Phil Hawes and Sean Strickland.

UFC Fight Night 250 also features a heavyweight clash pairing Sergei Pavlovich (-330) with Jairzinho Rozenstruik (+240), a bantamweight tilt slotting Said Nurmagomedov (-160) opposite Vinicius Oliveira (+130) and a lightweight affair matching Mike Davis (-140) with Fares Ziam (+110). Featherweights anchor the undercard, where Muhammadjon Naimov (-340) awaits Kaan Ofli (+250) in the featured prelim at 145 pounds.
