UFC 281 Card, Odds

BetUS.com installs Adesanya as a -215 favorite for the main event, with Pereira as a +170 underdog. In the co-headliner, Zhang is favored at -340, with Esparza coming back at +260.

Adesanya steps back into the spotlight on a three-fight winning streak and deep into the legacy-building phase of his career. The 33-year-old City Kickboxing superstar last appeared at UFC 276, where he took a unanimous decision from Jared Cannonier in their July 2 confrontation. Adesanya owns a 12-1 record inside the Octagon, his only loss resulting from a failed bid to capture the UFC light heavyweight championship.

Pereira, 35, has rattled off six consecutive victories. The Teixeira MMA-trained Brazilian last competed on July 2, when he punched out former King of the Cage champion Sean Strickland less than three minutes into their UFC 276 pairing. Pereira defeated Adesanya twice—once by decision, once by knockout—during their days as professional kickboxers.

UFC 281 “Adesanya vs. Pereira” also features a bantamweight tilt matching Chris Gutierrez (-230) with Frankie Edgar (+180) and a pair of lightweight affairs, as Dustin Poirier (-230) faces Michael Chandler (+180) and Dan Hooker (-145) meets Claudio Puelles (+115). Lightweights highlight a jam-packed nine-fight preliminary slate, as Renato Carneiro (-125) tests his skills against Brad Riddell (-105) at 155 pounds.
