One Championship 41 ‘Ascent to Power’ Lineup Complete
One Championship announced on Friday its completed card for the May
6 event, which will go down at Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Headlining One “Ascent to Power” will be middleweight champion Vitaly Bigdash defending his crown against Aleksei Butorin. Also slated for the bill will be an intriguing battle between local fighter Angela Lee taking on Mei Yamaguchi for the inaugural One women’s atomweight title.
“Finally, we’re home in Singapore, and I know a lot of our fans
here have been waiting a long time for our return,” stated One
Championship CEO Victor Cui. “As usual, we have a fantastic night
of world-class mixed martial arts action planned for all the fans
in attendance. Expect to be at the edge of your seats as we bring
you two big title fights featuring our top One athletes.”
Former One featherweight champ Narantungalag Jadambaa will make his return to the promotion when he faces Kotetsu Boku. Roger Gracie will square off against unbeaten fellow middleweight Michal Pasternak and Sylvain Potard will lock horns with Tatsuya Mizuno as well.
Rounding out the event will be Christian Lee taking on Cary Bullos at featherweight; Benedict Ang will face Jimmy Yabo; Saygid Arslanaliev will go toe-to-toe with Ma Jia Wen; and in the final piece to the event’s puzzle, Singaporean Amir Khan will oppose Chang Ching Hsiung.
