After two years FFC is coming back to Croatia's capital!

(PRESS RELEASE) -- For the first time after FFC 8 in 2013, Final Fight Championship is finally coming back to the Croatian capital of Zagreb. FFC 20 will be held on Friday, October 23 at Dražen Petrović Hall, popularly known as Cibona.

For this special occasion FFC compiled an excellent fight card headlined by the UFC veteran Igor Pokrajac in the MMA part of the event and Bosnian striker Dževad “BH Machine” Poturak when it comes to kickboxing.

After leaving the UFC, Pokrajac is back on the winning track and he will enter the ring in Zagreb after two consecutive wins via stoppage. The name of his opponent is yet to be announced, but it will definitely be a special evening for "The Duke" who has not fought in front of his hometown audience since 2007.

The "co-main" event features the first title defense for the FFC lightweight champion - Viktor Halmi. His opponent Ivica “The Terror” Trušček, who is extremely active lately, will get a chance to win the golden belt. This will be his 54th professional match which makes him an unprecedented record holder among the Croatian fighters. On the other hand, Halmi won the belt in the match against Matej “Dokoske” Truhan who is also to fight at FFC 20 in Zagreb. Truhan will face a German fighter of Croatian origins, Leo Žulić.

The kickboxing part of the event will be headlined by Bosnian striker Dževad “BH Machine“ Poturak and his Russian opponent Vladimir Toktasynov.

After three consecutive wins (two in the FFC) and a great performance against Zabit Samedov, Poturak is back in game with the intent to use the excellent shape he has reached in the last two years. However, it will not be easy because Toktasynov is a serious opponent who fought many big names in kickboxing.

Dževad’s Emir “BH Bulldozer” Mehić will also fight at the same event. Elmir will also face a difficult task since his opponent will be Holland’s Colin George. Another Bosnian fighter worth mentioning is definitely Denis Marjanović whose opponent will be Nikita Chub from the Ukraine. In his last FFC match Marjanović lost to Miran Fabjan, while Chub lost to Igor Emkić at FFC 7 in precisely same manner. Having in mind their recent losses, it is sure both fighters will do everything to win…

It is also important to note that FFC events are now broadcasted on the Croatian National TV (HRT), but is is also available on www.fightchanneltv.com and on all Fight Channel programs.
