A Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, Madrid enters the matchup on a four-bout submission streak. Most recently, “Demigod” tapped Chris Harris with a rear-naked choke 51 seconds into their encounter at LFA 72 this past July. The 35-year-old owns a 17-6 career mark, with 15 of those triumphs coming via submission.
Kasanganay is coming off a decision win over Kailan Hill on Season 3 of Dana White’s Contender Series this past August. The 26-year-old native is 6-0 as a professional, a record that includes a victory against Devorious Tubbs under the LFA banner.
