One of the most prolific fighters in UFC history, Cerrone draws another difficult assignment as he attempts to bounce back from a three-fight losing streak. “Cowboy” last competed in the UFC Fight Night 118 headliner in Gdansk, Poland, where he was on the receiving end of a first-round technical knockout from the undefeated Darren Till on Oct. 21. Cerrone sports 24 finishes among his 32 career victories, his resume highlighted by wins over Eddie Alvarez, Edson Barboza, Benson Henderson, Matt Brown, Evan Dunham and Jim Miller. Medeiros has stopped three straight opponents since moving to 170 pounds, turning away Sean Spencer, Erick Silva and Alex Oliveira, the latter in a “Fight of the Year” contender. The Cesar Gracie protégé owns a 6-4 mark in the UFC.
