6. Strikeforce Brawl

After Jake Shields conquered the legendary Dan Henderson in the Strikeforce “Nashville” main event on April 17, 2010, his teammates entered the cage to celebrate. Nate Diaz was among them. While Shields was being interviewed, former opponent Jason Miller decided it would be a good idea to storm into the cage to confront the man who had beaten him for the vacant Strikeforce middleweight championship five months earlier.

“Mayhem” interrupted the interview, called out Shields and demanded a rematch -- not the best move when one considers the Diazes and their hair triggers. The brothers immediately engaged Miller, and, in the blink of an eye, pandemonium ensued. The brawl was televised on CBS, which did little to paint the sport of mixed martial arts in a positive light. It did, however, introduce the Diaz brothers to a much wider audience, for better or worse.
